Damian is a UKCP and BABCP accredited existential and Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapist and supervisor. His interest in psychotherapy emerged from his experiences as an international humanitarian worker in Africa and his training in Social Work in England. Damian has over seventeen years of experience and has worked in a wide range of settings in both the public and private sector including specialist trauma, sexual abuse and addiction services. This year Damian is taking up a tutoring post at Oxford University and for the past seven years has been a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey where he trains students to provide front line NHS anxiety and depression services as part of the government’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) initiative.
Damian combines an existential and cognitive behavioural approach (CBT) in order to support and enable his clients to meet the challenges of emerging life issues in both pragmatic and exploratory ways. Damian currently works in private practice in London and Brighton.
