Dr Dan Hume

Dr Hume trained in medicine in Leicester before moving to Brighton and Hove to train in psychiatry in the late 1990s.  He works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in general adult and forensic psychiatry in the NHS and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.  Dr Hume is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is licensed to practice in the UK by the General Medical Council (GMC number 4432274).  He is able to provide a full range of out patient psychiatric services including assessment and diagnosis, as well as developing patient centred treatment plans using both medication and psychological therapies.  Dr Hume has a wide range of experience and works with most psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, adult ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder and personality disorder.
